I watched UFC the same week, so "worst ever" isn't in my vocabulary for fast lane. I came in expecting nothing and was given as much. Roman/Braun was the career defining match Braun needed. He looked dominant in a loss.
Charlotte/Bayley was weird, I'm guessing it's some sort of "Sasha can't beat Charlotte but thinks she can beat bayley" thing.
Neville/Gallagher was good, too bad for most of it the crowd was silent.
But hey, road to WrestleMania time.....Time to second guess everything, complain about everything, threaten to skip/stop watching/cancel network/stop being a fan.....The same stuff that's been happening for the past three Manias and then do it all again.
Can't say nothing wasn't given to us out of left field, we've all expected the Mania card since Survivor Series, can't say they didn't stick to their narrative.

Before you call this the "worst PPV ever," remember that pay-per-views were $30 a pop during the last brand split and some of those were atrocious.
As far as last night, the one guy that I'm concerned about is Braun Strowman. I'm not one to think that a loss automatically equals a burial, but it's tough to beat a monster and keep him as a monster. Hopefully they've got something good on tap for him. He's a unique talent and presence.

You have to look at the Braun lose as more a positive to Reigns and less a negative for Braun. Reigns is now the first man to beat this incredible monster and he can use that to go into the Taker match and as for Braun he lost to a top figure and multi time World champ, for a first big lose that ain't bad.

That stretch of matches from the tag title to the CW title match was painful.
And just the overall booking sucked. Charlotte's streak ends at Fastlane?? Owens loses via distraction?? Made no sense.
Show felt like a WCW show.

I agree with all of this, I'm just concerned as to what Strowman's next program will be. Assuming that we're looking at Reigns/Taker, Jericho/Owens, Lesnar/Goldberg and Joe/Rollins going forward, there is no lateral or upward move for Strowman on the current Raw roster. Maybe Finn Balor? I think it would be a huge step backwards if he went back to squashing midcarders (and "local talents").

Oh I agree. At best he's given a Mania feud and at worst he'll win the Andre Battle Royal which they still think means something. I suppose it's better to be winning that than not being on the show at all.

I don't think the loss hurt Braun much at all. It was his best match ever and he has improved a ton in the last year. Just all the stupid ass booking. And unbelievable shit even by wrestling standards. 100 pound Sasha Bank can roll up and keep down 285 pound Nia Jax? ? haha.
