Dont get smarky now kids, you heel on the marks, not the front office.....just bad business. Better have called Road Dogg and Hayes to take any heat you may have gotten for this.

Twitter is that blemish on the ball bag of existence. Everyone notices that blemish when they try to blow you. #LifeFact

Seth Rollins had naked pictures posted of him & Zahra on his social media and still had a WWE title run. I don't think a stupid tweet will hurt them too much, especially if they say "we were just being heels online".

Rollins dick and nazi girlfriend didn't reflect on creative booking.....even if something is stupid....you don't say it is if you don't have the stroke to do so.
That should just be common sense in any work environment.
Road Dogg is head writer on Smackdown.....not smart to call his work a "stupid multi-team gimmick".
Some people have been pushed aside for far less.

But the Rollins thing was way worse. That got a ton of negative media attention towards WWE, all this has done has got some fans & wrestlers annoyed. If you don't follow the guy you won't know this tweet even happened. I fully agree with you that it was a stupid move and he shouldn't have done but I'm just saying guys have done way worse and have been fine. I also didn't really seem them getting called up right now, the last thing the main roster needs is another tag team to just get lost in the shuffle.

Did the Rollins thing get a ton of negative press? I honestly don't remember seeing any other than a few jokes about that very day.

yeah, I don't remember the Rollins thing getting much coverage at all. TMZ Sports (lol) and that's about it from what I remember.

To me it just comes across as someone sending out a tweet in character, some vets taking it the wrong way, the guy realising and apologising. No harm, no foul. Might get a bit of heat for it backstage but can't see it being a career-ender.
It's just the typical 'old guys feeling disrespected by young guys' spiel. Dawson likely didn't mean anything by it, he was just playing his character. It's like that JTG story where he was being interviewed and accidentally said the words 'loyalty' and 'respect' next to each other without realising. Cena got wind of it and told him he needed to be taught a lesson about respecting other people's gimmicks and stopped some merch of his coming out. Over-sensitive prima donnas flexing their oiled muscles over molehills.

Veterans think new guys are overexposing the business. Veterans become sensitive, delicate flowers when a heel doesn't play fanboy on Twitter. Not saying it was a smart tweet, but let's all take a deep breath and relax.
Also, isn't Bubba the guy who didn't want to do charity and promotional appearances when he first came to WWE because he was a heel? But now it's a sin to stay in character if it means being "disrespectful" to the Ascension and Breezango?
I'd rather read the political threads...

The Rollins thing still got some press which is way more than what this got. That probably had more chance of gaining a ton of heat, where as this probably pissed off some and it'd be forgotten in a couple of days.

Bubba has always struck me as somebody who thinks the younger guys don't respect the older generations.

From all the stories you hear about him, I'm amazed Bubba has a "fun side" at all.
