Hey... it's a pay-per-view that feels like a pay-per-view. What a novel concept...
My predictions:
Brock Lesnar d. Goldberg I've been saying for months that - unless they intend to just keep him in his alternate universe forever - it's ridiculous that anybody except Brock Lesnar is No. 1 contender. This win probably doesn't get him there, but it starts him back on that road.
Styles/Ambrose/Wyatt/Orton/Shane d. Owens/Jericho/Reigns/Rollins/Strowman If Raw wins, Smackdown is completely buried. I hope that's a reason why Smackdown will win and not a reason why Raw will win. I do think Braun gets some good shine, though. And maybe an Owens/Jericho breakup tease.
Charlotte/Bayley/Nia/Fox/Sasha d. Bella/Bliss/Lynch/Carmella/Naomi The series has to go 2-1... and I have pretty strong feeling about the Men's and Tag matches. So I default to the Raw women.
Smackdown Tag Teams d. Raw Tag Teams Time for American Alpha to shine.
Kalisto d. The Brian Kendrick It's seems pretty telegraphed at this point that Kalisto takes the belt to move the Cruiserweights to Smackdown and set up the whole 205 Live deal. Won't be shocked if they just flip the belt back to Kendrick when that show debuts, though.
Sami Zayn d. The Miz I'm not in the "IC Title definitely has to go to Raw" camp, so I won't be shocked if Miz wins. But I'm still picking Zayn, more because Miz losing the belt to Raw advances his storyline than because I think Sami will get any real push out of getting the strap.

Pretty much agree with everything you say, except I have a stronger feeling that the IC belt will stay where it is. There really is no need to have the IC AND US belts on one brand, unless the plan is to unify them. I don't think a Miz loss necessarily also means the title is heading to Raw, as John/Wai speculated on RAS there could easily be a storyline 'loophole' which means Sami Zayn ends up on SD with the title.
Either way, it took about 5 minutes for the whole brand split wall to develop cracks and fissures. I understand that Survivor Series is purportedly a "Big 4" event and therefore needs both brands on it but there didn't need to be any more interaction beyond maybe a single trad match, let alone TWO matches which may result in talent trades.

Prior to the Miz winning I was picking Zayn to win with the idea of Zayn telling Stephanie to get lost and him moving to Smackdown. Now I don't see why you'd give Miz the title just to lose it to Zayn unless they were just worried about a face/face match. It will likely be a great match regardless.
Also feel like the survivor series matches are going to take a ton of time, this looks like a very slim card on paper. Probably for the best as those matches typically need time.

As he is not scheduled, the theory regarding Rusev interfering and costing Goldberg the match to me is looking likely. Can't work out why the Smackdown Women's champion is not their Captain however.

I'm having a real hard time with what they will do for Goldberg and Brock. It really is an intriguing situation where you can make an argument for both men on why one or the other should win or lose. I'm going to go outside of the box and predict that at somepoint during the night, Shane gets his ass beat in the back where he cannot compete in the SS match, therefore his replacement is the Undertaker! During the Goldberg/Lesnar match the ref or something fucked up happens, and here comes Shane. Shane interferes in the match to set Brock up to get speared and jackhammered and everyone goes home happy. We get the feel good story for Goldberg and Brock still looks strong because he lost due to interference, therefore it sets up Brock and Shane for RR or Mania.

Don't think Undertaker's getting involved in a match anytime soon, he has only just had knee surgery. But perhaps he'll appear in some capacity to set up something for Rumble.

I won't change my prediction (because, if this PPV has taught us anything, it's that challenges with no stakes are super important), but I think I've come around on Miz defeating Zayn. Maybe I'm putting too much thought into it, but it could be something like Bryan trading Miz before the match because he's confident that Zayn will win. Either way, I'm feeling more and more like both the strap and the Miz will be on Raw soon. Then Reigns beats Owens and the US Title goes bye bye.

I don't see Reigns beating Owens to be honest, not right now anyways. At this point there's more in keeping the title on Owens for him to give that crowning moment to a babyface at Mania. There's still the Jericho/Owens match to do, which could likely be the Rumble.

Alot of fuckery is going to get Seth, Owens and Jericho taken out as Reigns fights off three smackdown generals to look strong and eventually lose to AJ and he becomes an insufferable asshole because of it.

What are the odds that this goes over 4 hours?
I think that that Survivor Series follows the pattern of 4 hour events i.e. very long matches the crowd are going to get bored. I feel that the Cruiserweight match will feel the brunt of the fans boredom (should that happen)

well the main event team match just went almost an hour. A Shield reunion is the only way to get Reigns cheered.

Finish was booked like a UFC finish, Brock was too cocky and paid for it.
I liked it.

Well the Shield was the thing that worked for Reigns in the first place, no harm in going back to it a little. Don't think they'll do a full blown reunion, just a little something to try get the crowd before Reign's next US title program. As for the main event, it was probably the smartest way to book it and it makes you want to see a rematch. The build is there as well with Lesnar demanding Goldberg and giving the typical MMA excuses.

The more I think about it, the more I really like it. The smartest way to present a 49 year old with 12 year rung rust, plays into Lesnar's cocky character and gives an instant reason for a rematch while also giving fans a reason to want to see it as well i.e. we've seen the squash, now let's see the REAL match!
I can see a full Shield reunion on the cards pretty soon, they will have figured out based on that spot it is the only way to really press the reset on Reigns. Except maybe do it properly and have Reigns be the one to then split them up, and then go on a run as an amazing cocky heel which will then win the hardcores over - "oh okay, he actually can work, and has a personality!" to then set the platform of the babyface run. Yes it's just rehashing Rocky Mavia to The Rock but hey, if it ain't broke...
