Not that I am one to be casting the first stone but apart from the obvious legality issues it is taking money directly out of the pocket of the companies and therefore performers, who bust several guts and endanger their lives and/or future quality of life for our entertainment week in, week out. Like i said, I am not innocent of using said website but this is generally because there is just so much product out there that to watch it all would require a) a hefty bank account b) access to channels that are not available in my market. Where I do find myself using it I generally try to make a contribution where I can to the company after the fact by purchasing DVDs/merch etc. I appreciate that I am contradicting myself by arguing why you shouldn't use it by saying why I do, I suppose my general point is 'it's free so why not use it' shows a lack of respect to the performers we admire who sacrifice a lot for our benefit. You know what ? If that website was banned, I would go back to wwe network instantly. Why would I give away my money when I know that I don't have to ? So you can pretend you're going to cancel whenever you disagree with the creative direction. S'pose you can do that anyway. The Twittersphere sure fucking does.

You clearly don't have to (well, legally you do...), but you should want to. If everyone had the same attitude then there would be no industry. And yes I know that the WWE of all companies out there can probably take the hit of losing some people to illegal streams but that shouldn't deter from the principle of if you enjoy something, put something back in.

WWE gets my money from the Network. I buy tickets occasionally when they're in town. Like a couple weeks ago i got a KO & Sami Zayn shirt. I feel like i do enough.
Same goes for ROH. I'll buy tickets when they're in town... on a weekend.

I set my DVR/PVR for everything and watch a little later so I can skip commercials.

It should be stealing but it's not. It's like someone selling sweets and someone giving away the same sweets for free. Who would you go to ?

You are enjoying a product for free because someone has sourced it illegally and without the manufacturer's permission. I'm not arguing that it's not your prerogative to chose to do so regardless of the legalities of it, just that to think it's ok just because it is available is not fully thinking through the consequences and potential impact on an industry you purport to support.

Go to McDonalds and eat food for free as well?
That's not how supply and demand works.
Taking sweets that are stolen is called.....possession of stolen goods.

WWE Network Only once have bought anything from the store, a Samoa Joe shirt Should really get up to a show, quite a few house shows within a 3 hour distance of here I do stream TNA but it's very difficult to find lately, and to be realistic, people streaming TNA should be consider an asset on their part. It would be nice if more people viewed it legitimately , but it wouldn't actually bring them in any additional monies if I understand their situation with POP correctly. Also, for most it costs extra for POP. I'd have to estimate a very high percentage would opt to not watch TNA at all, rather than pay extra for it. There were times when they should have been paying us!! If there's a decent amount of people out there who are streaming TNA regularly, or downloading it later and watching it, and I think there probably is, then if they can somehow wangle their way back onto regular cable, all of sudden might their ratings might 'Spike' ? I'm not saying anything great, but what is it, 300K on average? How many are out there that are still following storylines and angles and would jump right back in when that happened. It would be interesting to find out. I bet it's a lot right now, with the Matt Hardy factor.

Go to McDonalds and eat food for free as well? No, it just magically appears at your crib via the internet, d'oh! That's not how supply and demand works. But this is unlimited free supply and limited demand Taking sweets that are stolen is called.....possession of stolen goods. Not for long!

But this is unlimited free supply and limited demand Taking sweets that are stolen is called.....possession of stolen goods. Not for long! 1. Searching out a product isn't "magically appearing". 2. Stolen content isn't free....d'oh. 3. Announcing it online is an admission of guilt.

McDonald's should actually pay us to eat that crap but I won't derail the thread.

I set my DVR/PVR for everything and watch a little later so I can skip commercials. Ditto. I started using the VCR for it back in 2000-2001. So much time saved this way. Especially considering how redundant WWE is these days, it's much nicer to cut RAW/SD down to the 1/2 hour or so worth watching. I can't relate to people who watch live or tell me seeing the same match week-in and week-out is entertaining. But whatever, that's their time, not mine. They are more than welcome to use it accordingly. I sure as fuck won't be!

McDonald's should actually pay us to eat that crap but I won't derail the thread. Need to cover the future health bills as well! I just pretty much stopped watching the redundant throw away PPVs/events. By not contributing to the Network or PPV costs and not watching, at least I can use my dollar vote accordingly. Most are not important anyways, and the couple minutes that are relevant are highlighted on the TV shows.
