Jays off season to do list:
a) Not resign Batista
b) Fire Gibbons
c) Change the club house attitude. It's not always somebody else's fault.

I don't think they should re-sign anyone. Maybe Edwin if they can get him to a agree to a short term deal. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind if they decided to trade away the older players and get whatever value they can for them now before they depreciate. The Jays' window for winning is closing rapidly, they can either try to win the World Series again next season (and probably fail) and then get ready for a rude awakening when the team sucks in a few years, or they can field a younger team next season and be better in the future.
The starting rotation will be still be good and will keep us competitive. Osuna, Stroman, Sanchez are the players the team should be built around. If Devon Travis can stay healthy then we don't have to worry about second base. But everyone else, I wouldn't mind being shipped out. Tulo is still a great player but definitely not producing like he used to, Donaldson is about to turn 31 years old, so why not trade these players now? We can get some great prospects in return, but if we wait then there's a good chance their value goes down. I know this opinion is not popular, but Shapiro and Atkins have to do what's best for the organization and not listen to what the fans want. We had a fun couple of years, made it to the ALCS two years in a row, but it didn't happen for us, we didn't win the World Series and we can't make the same mistake the Leafs did in the early 2000's when they kept going for it but really should have rebuilt.

Edwin is going to get a shit ton of money this off season. Over 20 million a year per sure I would think. Batista on the other hand really hurt his value this year. I'm guessing he cost himself at least $5 million a year with his performance this year.
