I think you can cross out the Jon Jones heavyweight title one. With his suspension, he won't be fighting again this year. I was going to wait until Jon Jones had his hearing.

Another update: Quickly after being on the wrong side of the Finn Balor main roster debut prediction, John bounces back the next day as according to Showbuzzdaily, SmackDown beat Raw in viewership this week by about 40,000 viewers and certainly did better in both viewership and ratings than the July 4 episode of Raw. The prediction was simply that any episode of SmackDown would have a better rating than an episode of Raw, and this week's episode certainly beat the July 4 show and had more viewers than this week's Raw.

Hogan will be welcomed back by Mania, that racist heat will be dead by than, barring something majorly stupid done by the Hogan camp. Unlikely

A big couple of weeks for a few of John's predictions with Bayley and Kevin Owens both in the title picture. Though, oddly enough, neither one is fighting for the actual title that the question was about. But I'd say they're both equivalent enough to count.

Update: Kevin Owens has won the WWE Universal Championship. I think we should give John credit for the prediction that Owens would win the WWE Championship, but with an asterisk.

John should for sure get full credit on the Owens World Title one.

Jon Jones has been suspended for one year. He will not re-gain the UFC Light Heayvyweight Title as Pollock predicted, though he did win an interim title.

another update: With his win at UFC 205, Conor McGregor now holds two UFC Championships simulataneously. John predicted that Conor would not accomplish this.

Well, folks, the end of the year is near. The only prediction still in question is whether Ronda Rousey will reclaim the UFC Bantamweight Title. We won't know this until late on December 30.

think you are being a little stingy on 4. I'd give John the point for that one.

Update: Kevin Owens has won the WWE Universal Championship. I think we should give John credit for the prediction that Owens would win the WWE Championship, but with an asterisk. Agree that it should count. It's an equivalent title (or, meant to be) that didn't exist at the time of the prediction.

final update:
@johnpollock's final tally was: 9 correct and 7 incorrect.
The two you could argue were the Kevin Owens-WWE World Heavyweight Champion prediction and the Jon Jones Light Heavyweight Title question. Owens didn't win the WWE Championship, but obviously held the newly created Universal Championship. Jon Jones did win an interim championship, though it's hard to recognize that as re-gaining his championship since it wasn't against DC.
