Fun show tonight. The RAW AFTER the biggest RAW of the year is usually hit or miss, tonight wasn't bad.
Brock is on the mic and Cena, rudely, interrupts.
Cena slaps Brock and it reminds me of Trish slapping the living hell out of Chris Jericho after his match with Christian at WM XX. This bothers me to no end, grown men shouldn't be slapping each other. I try to picture Austin going nose to nose with the Rock and then just hauling off and slapping him and it just doesn't work.
Brock takes Cena down and we get a flood of people into the ring to break them apart, refs, officials, guys in suits....and then WWE superstars join in. The ring is just jam packed with bodies and it supplies a neat visual.
And we get it, the level of sheer RAGE and ANIMOSITY between Cena and Brock is so intense that it requires dozens of people to keep them apart, but why was Sheamus there?
He's your World Heavyweight Champion, why in the world would they include him in the mob that invaded the ring? Again, changing perspective a bit....but if the Rock and Stone Cold had a huge throwdown in the ring prior to their match at WM XIX would HHH come sprinting out to keep them apart? Probably not.
It's just further evidence that the WHC has become a secondary title. The sooner they unify that belt with the WWE championship the better.
The Three Stooges bits were painful but at least I wasn't there. How pissed would you be if you bought tickets to see RAW and you got to see this shit?
Punk and Mark Henry round two? And we get round three next time? Pass.
I'm not sure when Cena started this habit of talking to the camera during his entrance (he did it two weeks ago when coming out to chat it up with the Rock) but it's pretty cool. It's a nice touch that engages the fans at home making them feel more a part of the action.
A week after losing the biggest match of his career and we're back at 'Let's go Cena' and 'Cena Sucks' so all is well in the Cena-verse once more.
And after Cena destroys Otunga Brock comes out and F5's the living hell out of him surprising no one.
Not a bad show, not a great show, I'd say a 6 out of 10.
