When the babyface is in control "as Raw rolls on!" and they go to commercial, then it comes back and the babyface is fighting out of a chinlock. It's annoying enough when they go to commercial during a match in the first place (advertisers, blah blah, quarter hour ratings, yada yada), but don't make me feel like I missed a major turning point.

This one isn't "during a match", but I can't stand when a guy who got beat gets praised by the announcers (or praises himself) for his "performance". Even for 2016, this is a little too far in the "we all know this is a show" direction. You can say Wrestler A took Wrestler B to the limit and little things like that, but all of the "stealing the show" stuff has gotten out of hand.
Not quite current, but one of the most egregious examples of this is "Mr. Wrestlemania" Shawn Michaels... who is 6-11 at Wrestlemania (5-9 as a singles wrestler).

A quick shout out to Rollins and Ambrose on one of the best-executed double pins that I've ever seen. These scenarios are usually kind of ridiculous (which is why I'm posting in the "stuff that takes you of a match" thread) with one guy clearly being the "pinner" and the other being the "pinned". Not only was last night's pin pretty mutual, for lack of a better term, but both guys' shoulders were on the mat and both guys were sufficiently prevented from kicking out by the other. Well done.

Those moves/holds that require the guy taking the bump to lie perfectly still for than 3 seconds. Hey Dwayne, cut the froofroo dancing and pin the fucking guy already!

One of the things I hate is when a heel is trying to show the babyface's "true self" during a match. Bray Wyatt did it during his feud with Cena but I've just watched this in NGW between Dara Diablo & El Ligero. They spent 2 years building up to a last man standing match, Diablo starts by giving Ligero a chair and asking him to hit him, he doesn't. They then spend 20 minutes killing each other, both trying to win and it ends with Ligero finally using the chair. Diablo loses but is then smiling as "he's still won" making him use the chair. It's so damn stupid as these stories play no part after.

They should go to the UK. They would sit through a week of WWE if given a chance.

They should go to the UK. They would sit through a week of WWE if given a chance. There's something I can't quite explain but seeing any event at Wembley even though I'm watching on tv looks special to me. There are stadiums that could hold more people than Wembley but it doesn't look the same. I've never been more in awe of a WWE crowd than Summerslam 1992. Not Dallas mania. Not anything. Just something unique about shows at Wembley. I am always in favour of another show there. It's my favourite venue to watch a show even though I'm watching from my tv at home in canada.

Brooklyn crowd. I hope they DO NOT get SummerSlam again next year. The Brooklyn crowd has become a self-fulfilling prophecy, just like the "Raw after Mania" crowd: an entitled group that expects the world (we're wrestling fans... aren't we all like that?) and will shout down anything that doesn't meet their immediate wants and needs. "Build-up and logical storytelling are for when I'm watching on TV... when I'm in the crowd, you should be hot-shotting everything I want to see."You can't tell a group that large that they're a part of the show, and then expect them to play second fiddle to anybody. You might as well ask mid-90s Shawn Michaels to drop a title to somebody he doesn't ride with.

I don't think the Brooklyn crowd deserves to be categorised like that. They were fine last year and were great at NXT so its not like they're an awful crowd all the time. I agree with Dan & Jay that the show was just too damn long and the fans just fell out of it. I would say they probably shouldn't book the same place for 3 nights in a row, really don't think that helps matters.

Brooklyn crowd. I hope they DO NOT get SummerSlam again next year. Takeover and SummerSlam are both at Barclays in 2017.

Excess blood. Especially hardway.
I don't like seeing blood at all. I'm pretty much the anti-hardcore match type of guy except for in video games.

I don't get why wrestling fans have to act like they're obligated to sit through the entire show....especially a kickoff.
Do you see ufc fans whining about having to watch prelims? Or football fans having to sit through a seemingly endless block of tv where a panel just talks about football?
Thete is that weird option of starting to watch when the official show starts.....four hours is long....I went "smoke" break for New Day and backstage segments because it didn't interest me.
