Hope we're all lucky enough to be there to laugh at your funeral, Ryan.
Roderick Toombs : a remarkable, self-made man. From being homeless to being on top of an entire industry. What a life.

Piper if anything, was a survivor. Homeless, grew up on a reservation and saved by the sport we all love, been stabbed, shot and overcame cancer.
Lots can be said, mostly positive and some negative but the fact remains that he was a maverick and overachiever.

At the time I posted, I did not think it was disrespectful. Looking back at what I wrote, my first memories of him in writing does seem disrespectful. I want a party at my funeral. Too many are so sad. Everyone is drawn together, you might as well make the most of it. Live life, in honor of the deceased.

Another wrestler death.
What a horrible horrible couple of months for deaths in the world of pro wrestling.

Tragic news. I was actually kinda surprised he was only 61, I figured he was a bit older, but he lived hard. RIP Hot Rod.

If John and Wai do a retrospective on Piper, it should only be Pipers Pits.
I wish he didn't have that issue back in 03 with WWE, cause I enjoyed his run as Sean Ohaire's mouthpiece

The thing that doesn't shock me is how much of a impact these has had on his fans. Piper really was a larger then life kind of guy, much like Dusty a few months back. If John & Wai delay the G1 final review for a Piper retrospective I'd be all for it. Piper had such a interesting career and really was bigger then wrestling.

I still can't believe he's gone. But you guys know who's up next right? Snuka was apparently just diagnosed with stomach cancer and as far as I know, you don't overcome stomach cancer.

I can't believe Snuka has lasted this long. The dude reached his 70's and ran as hard as anyone. Suprised that it might be stomach cancer that gets him.
