As much as I like Wai, and Wai's a really cool dude, but John Pollock is IMO the foundation behind all of the LAW podcasts. The guy is magnificent, and comes across as one of the coolest people to talk to or hang out with.

John is the best. Very professional, yet has his own sense of humor that he interjects. In my eyes he holds up the LAW and maybe even the Fight Network if I watched it. Any success he'll have in life he's earned it by being as great as he is. He's got a repeatability to him that's tough thing in the world of broadcast. COMING UP NEXT!
Not to be forgotten, Wai too is a really likable person, a sense of normality and humbleness surrounded by bigger, bolder personalities. He feels like the common fan, without being an idiot. I'm a big fan of them both.

I feel like John will become THE guy in combat sports/pro wrestling once Meltzer retires.
He has the same encyclopedic knowledge of MMA and pro wrestling that Dave does and probably logs similar hours.
Despite the explosion of popularity in MMA and pro wrestling podcasts the past few years, there are very, very few people who can analyze and break down both worlds as well as John can.

Haters can stuff it. Pollock does his work. Anyone who dismisses that, is missing the boat. His news is top notch. As for opinions, that is subjective. Why judge the guy on that? We're not discussing Ontario geography, after all...

When someone searches for the day of the week of an historical event (e.g. "what day of the week was the Ides of March when Caesar was stabbed?"), Google asks John Pollock.

I appreciate how well John has handled the podcast situation, even that few minutes on R-A-R he wanted to use Stings bat on some listeners.

Welcome to July, the official John Pollock appreciation month. This thread should be stickied for the rest of July. But of course John would never self promote himself so we'll have to rely on Wai to get that done.

ummm, was Ross Report for everybody else (who downloaded from itunes) only 45 minutes long? Ross said they were coming back with more talk, then it went to the podcast one ending with the news. I'm confused.
