I'm picturing Bob Carter going "Enough of this crap. I'll handle this bitch. What's to learn about wrestling announcing, anyway? Someone, hand me a mic, now!"

I never need to see Taz again ever. I don't think he is as bad a commentator as Levranski thinks he is, but he adds nothing to the product to me.

Not a big loss for TNA. He's been phoning it in for years. Just move Borash to the announce cave

I think Josh would thrive going solo.
He kills it on his men's rollerblading aficionado podcast.

Well Mouth will be extremely happy that Taz is gone. I think you just put Tenay back on to fill his role, maybe then they'll take things a bit more seriously. But it's TNA so I doubt it.

Supposedly they're considering Al Snow as Taz's replacement.

John and Wei for me. I think with radio and Youtubers you need to be so adamant and hateful about things to make it entertaining. Otherwise a bunch of men sound like gushing schoolgirls talking about oiled men that wrestle in spandex. MMA is different, beat faces, get a tapout, get it over with quick.

Mouth has probably already chosen a song to play for next week's LAW show when they talk about Taz. I expect some sort of celebration tune.
In regards to Taz, Meltzer believes Taz left on his own & the reason is not only the recent missed checks. Whatever the reason is, Meltzer says that Mathews and Taz were not the best of friends.

There are lots of realistic options. I'd like to see them in roughly this order:
1) Josh and Jim Ross (though apparently Josh dissed him on Twitter? Whatevs) 2) Josh and Borash 3) Josh and Tennay 4) Josh and MVP (though tough with MVP's current storyline, but I think he'd be great) 5) Josh and Don West 6) Josh solo
Maybe they can even tempt Mauro or someone over, too.
As I say, lots of options, and all better than Taz. This might work out to be one of those rare win-win scenarios for everyone involved.

Always been a fan of Jeremy Borash on commentary. I would have no problems with him stepping in to the role. Course, I watch TNA so infrequently.

After Taz leaves the company, Impact airs a couple days later with Mathews saying that "Taz is on assignment." Whoever wrote that line sure made Mathews look like somebody that nobody can trust. He should have said "personal matter", "personal issue", or something like that instead. Even after-the-fact editing of any mention of Taz would have been better.

Josh Matthews is just an unlikeable person.

Josh Matthews is just an unlikeable person. Seems like it. But he's a good commentator.
