We're looking for a new theme song for everyone's favourite one-and-a-half-hour supplement to a three-hour show, Review-A-Raw. Our shows have always felt like big community efforts, so rather than digging out "Generic Rock Bed #32", we'd like to use the opportunity to showcase some of our listeners' creativity. Here's what we're looking for: - Keep it brief. Just like a wrestler's entrance, consider a strong and impactful first 10 seconds instead of a song with a 2 minute intro. Please bear in mind that the winning entry may be edited down to a shorter length for final use. If your track contains lyrics, we may also require a clean, instrumental bed for production purposes.
- Original material only. This means no covers, samples or interpolations of existing copywritten material. Unfortunately, this means no sampling of wrestling promos from copywritten TV shows either. However, feel free to sample anything involving our own voices from The LAW's archives.
- Something befitting the tone and style of our shows. We're open to hearing a very wide variety of musical styles, but if your thing is Mongolian throat singing, it may be unlikely we'll find it fitting for our WWE Raw reviews (I'd still love to hear it, though).
Winner will receive a LAW T-Shirt of their choice from ProWrestlingTees.com/LAW and have their song played at the beginning of each show. Deadline is Monday April 6th at 7pm ET. Entries will be played and a winner be chosen on that evening's edition of Review-A-Raw. - Wai

Jesus Wai,
Talk about being a primadona now. Holy. You can't even show to work that your in demand. As for the song just make a collage of raw intos over the last 20 years done. yea and you should beat on Court Bauer for real already. Cut all the teasing and just make it happen. Still a fan. Dont let me down again.

I got the background music from incompetech.com which is royalty free music anyone can use. So there shouldn't be any copyright issues.
No idea how to embed a Soundcloud file so here's the link. I've added a long fade out so all the talking is done around the 1 minute mark. Both songs start off the same but the middle and endings are different.

I really like how you didn't put any lyrics in, but I'd make it a little longer though. 2 minutes of the same repetitive beat just goes by so fast.

I would, but knowing this was just an intro song I didn't want to stretch it out too much. Thanks for the feedback though...

One song I think would be great for Review-A-Wai is called "Pandemonium" by a band called "The Answer" and it can be found here - www.reverbnation.com/theanswer2013/song/15706145-pandemonium. I represent the group and would be able to clear any permission issues with them. There are about 50 songs on their site and I believe only one or two aren't original compositions.

Review.A.Raw Theme Song SubmissionLyrics: "When Raw ends, that’s when it’s time to begin . . . It’s on to Review-A-Raw with John Pollock and Wai Ting; the A-Team that makes sense of these things we see in the ring every week on TV
It’s Review-a-Raw from Monday Night Download it Tuesday Morning from The Fight Network site It’s Review a Raw from Monday Night on USA, now on to John & Wai . . . take the mic"

So far my vote would go for theidentitycrisis' song. Short, simple, catchy. Seems to grasp the point of the contest better than anyone else.

Paul RJ (Melbourne Australia) My friend Matt69 made this and gave permission to use it. It was made using a drum machine and guitar, all in fun... Hope you get a laugh out of it.. soundcloud.com/paul-rj/9ers-music
