How I'd book Sting till his match with Trips at Mania.
Sting doesn't need to be there every week, but I'd have a mysterious video that says " I'm always watching" with the Sting facepaint. At TLC, there'd be the obligatory Sting in the rafters camera shot. At the Rumble, Trips returns as an entrant, in an attempt to get at John Cena so Cena asks for Trips to be in power. Trips is standing alone in the ring and Sting "runs" in and eliminates Trips. Trips trys to strongarm his way into the February Main Event and the lights go out and when they're turned back on, Trips is laid out. The video appears and ends with "See you at Wrestlemania".
That's my idea

I'd stick with something along those lines.
HHH somehow weasels his way back on Raw and enters the Rumble, and Sting keeps appearing in the rafters... and at the Rumble and every time after the lights go out and Stings lays him out and costs him the match. This continues and HHH keeps demanding a match, but Sting just keeps lurking in the rafters only coming down to cost HHH (or his stable) a match... finally HHH goes out there with a contract for a match at Mania and orders Sting shows himself and sign it, and waits, and waits, and just as HHH is to leave the ring the lights go out, come back on and HHH is laid out in the middle of the ring and Sting is standing over him. Scribbles his name on the contract, throws it on HHH and leaves the ring.
Another good spot would be one night HHH goes for his sledgehammer, and all he pulls out is a black bat.

A series of vignettes featuring HHH working at the office and he sees symbols of Sting. Things like a scorpion or a black baseball bat. He hears a crow. But only HHH sees this stuff. The people he is interacting with don't see the symbols. All this makes HHH go a bit crazy until he's running around the arena trying to find Sting. That's when Sting appears in the rafters above the Wrestlemania sign. HHH challenges Sting to a match at Mania. Sting accepts. Never put them in the ring together until Mania.

So do not want to see this kind of thing... Been done before anyway with Ultimate Warrior seeing things in mirrors etc.. Not something that makes tons of sense in my opinion and while disbelief is fun, too much makes it unbelievable. Not that wrestling is all that its cut up to be when it comes to believability.

Groovy, that's just how I would do it. I think HHH slowly losing his mind week by week would be entertaining. I also have no faith in the WWE to pull it off. Lucha underground maybe, but not WWE. Instead of actually watching Raw for the next four months, I'm just going to imagine the build.

I'm actually surprised Sting is willing to do anything with HHH, he said it himself he wanted to come back for Undertaker, so unless he's gone for good then so not something I want to see. I'm glad they removed the "evil controller" angle, even if for a bit, frankly I am fed up with seeing WWE end their PPV's in screw jobs left and right, Why? because we only pay 12 bucks I guess getting a clean finish of some sort is asking too much.

Just come out on a random Raw and say he wants a match at Mania and since Taker can't do it, may as well be the heir to the business and say show time and leave until Mania. Because every possible scenario would be met with complaints, just be honest and leave it at that. According to Punk Wrestlemania is the draw, not certain stars. Who needs buildup when the show just sells itself right?

Sting challenges him on the first RAW after whatever the Feb. PPV will be called.
Triple H comes out the next week wearing his denim vest/leather jacket combo and they both stare at the WM31 logo.
Triple H lost power as an administrator. He was never fired as a wrestler and Cena wouldn't have to bring back Triple H the wrestler since his spot on the roster as an in-ring competitor was never in jeopardy.

I'd book Sting vs The Undertaker. I know The Streak is dead, but it'd still be the best program. They wouldn't have to work a marathon match.

If they really need to figure out something with Triple H and Sting, I would much rather have them go at it either at the Royal Rumble or in SummerSlam. My whole dream scenario for Sting in the WWE would be to have Sting take on the Undertaker at this year's Wrestlemania as it's just the aura of these two finally in a ring together that would make this match incredible. Have Undertaker go over and let it be the Dead Man's last match...then you can have Sting vs. Triple H at SummerSlam and have Sting go over Hunter so he can at least get that feel good moment and last final match. Perhaps then they both could go into the Hall of Fame in 2016 at Wrestlemania 32. Again, that's my dream scenario....if we really are getting Triple H vs. Sting this year (which most signs point to that) I would keep it simple. Sting is here to make sure that Hunter and the Authority don't continue to push their weight around and he remains the silent warrior ala WCW in 1997...things get escalated and it eventually leads to a confrontation between the two that progresses to a match at Wrestlemania.

How its likely to go....
Cena after rumble with title(or not) comes out, cuts a standard Cana promo, gets cut off by HHH and says, "Either put me back into power or I'll beat you into doing it." Cena says, "Okay......on one condition.....you have to beat Sting at Wrestlemania."
Simple, safe way of setting up the match.
UT/Sting would be a completely different beast.....

I don't want to see this match at all at Wrestlemania, but if they do then they definitly have to go the mind games route, and they should not touch before Mania.

Cena getting bullied by Triple H? That's rich.
