I feel your excitement with the Big Show/Mark Henry tag team. Having grown up during the 80's, I was a fan of the Natural Disasters. In fact, for those who may remember the arcade game WrestleFest, I always chose Earthquake and Big Bossman as my tag team, even though they were heels at the time. Whoever the tag title holders are, I'm just waiting for the WWE debut of The Ascension. Viktor is a great technician and Konnor is the muscle/power.

Consider this #FACT (Tyson Kidd reference) - The NXT Titles are more important than the current WWE Intercontinental, US, and Tag Team Championships. This idea is expanding from my post in another thread... ...Everything that takes place on NXT is of utmost importance. Each performer is desperately putting in their best performances to get noticed and have the opportunity of moving on to the WWE Roster. You can see and feel their level of dedication. Having watched NXT since their Full Sail debut, I have found myself emotionally invested in each of the stars. I feel very happy when I see one of the NXT stars moves to the main WWE roster and experience success, such as The Shield, Wyatts, etc. On the other hand, I feel bad for those WWE unfortunately chose to release. Each NXT hopeful desires to reach the NXT Championship, Womens Championship or Tag Team Championship. Holding one of those titles legitimately means their career will advance. If I was to apply a percentage, I'd say it 90% guarantees the performer will move to the WWE roster. Excluding FCW, the NXT championship lineages are: NXT Champion - Seth Rollins, Big E, Bo Dallas, Adrian Neville (current). Although Neville could use some work in his promos, it's nothing that couldn't be overcome if he was brought up within a 3-person group like The Shield/Wyatts. Tag Team Champions - Adrian Neville/Oliver Grey (released April 2014), Luke Harper/Erick Rowan, Adrian Neville/Corey Graves, The Ascension (current). With the exception of Oliver Grey, all have moved onto the WWE roster. I expect The Ascension should come up some time soon. NXT Womens Champions - Paige, Charlotte. Paige working a Divas title program with AJ. Charlotte looks great and I'd expect to see her called up at some point.

NXT Fantasy booking idea that could boost the mid-card titles:
Every now & then, a WWE star will show up & have a match with an upcoming talent. What if the current IC/US Title holder visits NXT. On a whim, he decides to put the IC/US Title on the line. The NXT talent manages to beat the WWE star and that title stays in NXT. That would immediately boost the importance of the IC/US Title. It would also result in a decision to be made among NXT performers. "Do I challenge for the NXT Championship or the WWE IC/US Title?"
There's a perfect opportunity coming up. Monday night, Cesaro qualified as #1 contender for Sheamus' US Title. If Cesaro wins the US Title, then visits NXT to gloat. Out comes Sami Zayn, recalling their history of great matches. Cesaro having beaten him twice sees Zayn as no threat and grants Zayn a title shot. Sami wins and the US Title stays in NXT. (On the other hand, if Sami must lose that would be a perfect time for Kevin Steen to debut, costing Sami Zayn the title match.)
Even Triple H could be written into the picture, where he (in kayfabe) becomes enraged that a WWE title has been lost to an NXT talent. He could send a variety of low/mid-card WWE guys to try & win it back, such as Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel, Zack Ryder, Christian, Sandow, Curtis Axel, Ryback, Heath Slater, Titus O'Neil, etc.
Damn, it virtually writes itself. I can envision all those outcomes on NXT. I think it's a good idea, which probably means WWE wouldn't go for it. lol
