What are you're opinions on all of the wrestling podcasts surfacing over the past year? Are there too many?
There's Stone colds, Jericho's, Jim Ross podcast, Roddy piper and now Goldberg's
There's 6 weekly Law podcasts if you count the Law itself(which I do) then Jaw once a month.
Now with all the law podcasts, podcast one podcasts(7 a week) & colts podcast that's 14 podcasts in one week and that's just the mainstream ones.
Personally I listen to all the law ones and the others depend on the guests week to week.
Is the market becoming over saturated?

I just need the LAW. Never listened to any others. Not really a podcast guy. The bests will thrive and the worsts will keep going for the love of what they do.

You only need the law. I listen to some "soccer" podcasts from europe otherwise only thing i would love if the mma hour with ariel helwani was indeed only for an hour

There's a lot of filler out there. I generally like the LAW podcasts. They go down easy. Colt Austin and Jericho I listen to when there's a guest I like. Bully Ray on Jericho this week is very interesting. MLW has too much nonsense chatter (I'm looking at you Konnan) and inconsistent audio quality. That's right. I'm getting picky on audio quality of free podcasts. And I don't find Cornette interesting. Haven't tried JR. Don't plan to either.

I'm a big Podcast guy. I used to be a massive Sports talk radio fan until the stations here started getting up there asses about the smallest things.
Far as wrestling podcasts go i listen Review A RAW, Wai, iMPACT, Whts NXT. as well as most the shows on F4W/Wrestling Observer (been a subscriber since 2007). I'll listen to the podcast one shows depending on who the guests are.
Listen to MLW now and again though i don't class that Podcast as a wrestling podcast as they more often and not talk about stuff outside of Wrestling.
I don't listen to the LAW that often as i get most of my wrestling news every other day listening to Dave Meltzer on his own Shows.

I listen to all the Law ones and Colt's every week. Besides that I pick and choose, if there's a good guest then I'll download it. I never feel like I have to listen to the other ones, I also feel like it's a bit overkill to be honest. I was fine with Austin and Jericho's coming out but from JR onwards I thought it was a little much. I have no idea why Piper or Goldberg were given a podcast. I really think it's just Podcastone jumping on previous success.

There are way too many podcasts. I suppose if you just listen to wrestling podcasts you might still be able to squeeze them all in, but personally I listen to a lot of podcasts outside of wrestling too, so there just isn't time for everything. As far as wrestling goes I'll try to listen to the mainstream ones the best I can but even the ones I catch I often fast forward a lot of it to save time. The days of having nothing but The LAW and AOW to listen to every week are long gone.

There are an awful lot of wrestling podcasts all of a sudden.
The two I listen to every week are of LAW's radio show, and Colt Cabana's.
I occasionally listen to Bauer and Pollock and Cheap Heat (Grantland), maybe half the time (probably should cut back on those, Bauer gets on my nerves, and the Cheap Heat guys aren't much better). I'll listen to Review-A-Wai, Ross', or Austin's podcast if they have a guest/topic I'm interested in.
I've tried listening to Jericho's, but he just comes off as trying way to hard. MLW is awful. Pipers is even worse. Never tried Cornettes, I imagine it's fine and I like him on other shows, but I think I'd get sick of him if I heard his schtick every week.

I'm a huge podcast guy. Because of my work, I can listen to 40+ hours of podcasts a week.
I listen to
Art of Wrestling with Colt Cabana Bryan and Vinny Show and Wrestling Observer from wrestlingobserver.com Live Audio Wrestling Place to be Wrestling Podcast Pro Wrestling Ponderings Podcasts Ross Report Talk is Jericho - only the wrestling related episodes and the hockey ones
Those are the wrestling ones that I listen to (I also listen to other non-wrestling ones)
And when I don't have anything new to listen to, I am slowly working my way through the wrestlingobserver archives. Listening to about 50% of those shows as I work my way through it.

I started Cornette's but had to cut it. Too much political bullshit. The wrestling stuff was gold but too much non-wrestling stuff. His 10 minute rants on gun control made me want to use a gun on myself.
When I say LAW, I listen to LAW, RAW, WAI, and Impact. And any road trip ones. Don't listen to Nxt (Can't stand Braden) or JAW.
There is no amount of money in the world that would get me to listen to even one of Piper's or Goldberg's podcasts.

I listen to all the LAW podcasts except JAW. And most of the Wrestling Observer/F4W shows, aside from Dr. Lucha and Karl Stern.
If someone I'm interested in is on Stone Cold's podcast, I'll listen. But it's not one of my regular shows.
And that's about it.

I listen to many podcasts. So many in fact that I was inspired to create my own (nods head down towards signature). I think it's just a wonderful little medium as a way to listen to wrestling news or just other peoples opinions. Most of my favourites have already been mentioned:
Live Audio wrestling: I have been listening to LAW for years and review a wai since day one. Review a Wai was definitely the first podcast I got into and fell in love with. I don't even really listen to the weekly sunday show anymore. I find with podcasts you sort of have to filter them out because there's been too much to listen to after that.
F4W/Wrestling observer: The first site I've paid for. The Bryan and Vinny show is so goddamn hilarious I went back and listened to every one in the archive, and brought up in the Dave Meltzser thread in the Off Topic section I admire him quite a bit and respect his opinion so I don't have aproblem paying for it
MLW: Also a VIP subscriber to this. Too cheap not too really. I don't really think Cornette is a mind meant for modern day wrestling but I do respect him a lot just for having done what he's done. Then MSL, Court, and Konnan are all fucking great and super hilarious. Konnan especially.
Art of wrestling: I'll usually go to this once a month and just download all the shows. It's great.
Steve Austins podcast: Another one I got into recently. Austin's personality is too awesome and hilarious not to enjoy it.
Overall I think Bryan & Vinny is my favourite though. Bryan Alvarez can just have me in fucking stitches when he gets angry and passionate about something.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Its interesting to see the different opinions on the plethora of wrestling podcasts and which ones you listen to and which ones you don't.

Overall I think Bryan & Vinny is my favourite though. Bryan Alvarez can just have me in fucking stitches when he gets angry and passionate about something. Vinny rants are what make Bryan and Vinny shows. When he starts shouting about some stupid stipulation TNA has come up with is when Bryan and Vinny are at there best. Granny guilt trips are also hilarious.

I think the other thing that get's me when it comes to Jericho's and Austin's shows was shown this week. Both released 2 parters (Bully Ray & James Storm) and it's just another episode for the sake of it instead of doing a slightly longer one. Austin even did 4 parts with Eric Bischoff.
