Post your feedback to tonight's 3-hour 'Raw' from Detroit with what you thought of the show and will you be watching 'Extreme Rules' on Sunday?

I'll keep it very short-I was very entertained by the opening edge promo, Punk acting drunk, although it was predictable and Lesnar's list of demands were a million times better than punk last summer. the show was very long and if i'm home and can find a good stream i will check it out.
is it in brock's contract for you guys to change the show to review a raw starring brock lesnar?
I'm just trying to do my job

Lord Tensai's karate poses crack me up, and his senton makes me cringe.
Brock highlights of him beating up the current TNA roster was great...but I didn't need to see that video package from last week again two times on the same show. Diva Brock is an interesting twist, and it was a nice dynamic to see Ace being intimidated by a heel. That said cutting 15 minute promos is not Brock's strong point.
Cena needing to bring a weapon to the ring against an unarmed opponent? Fucking coward. On Sunday I am absolutely buying the PPV and Brock should decimate Cena which leads to him going in hiding until this summer.....and then bringing FEDOR on board as his trainer for the rematch. WWE & M-1 Global present SummerSlam starring Brock Lesnar.

Was mostly entertained and it went by quickly.
I am looking forward to WWE Monday Night RAW staring Brock Lesnar next week.

I enjoyed Edge's promo he brought an intensity that Cena was missing, rest of the show was okay, you could see they really had to fill 3 hours.
The end segment was done well I love how they play up the fact that people know Brock didnt come back because "he missed it", might as well use the fact that he is getting paid a lot of money to come back and he doesnt care about much else.
For a minute I thought we were going to get a swerve and have the match on Sunday moved to Summerslam. I still dont plan on buying the PPV.

Lesnar destroying Matthews was amazing. I thought everything with Lesnar that they did before the last segment was great - they told everyone why this guy was a big deal without him having to say a word. The contract signing, like most of them, fucking sucked.
The Edge promo was awesome.
Everything else was terrible. CM Punk vs Jericho has completely fallen apart, I thought that everything those two did tonight was really bad. Cena's serious face was laughable and it's impossible to take him seriously looking like that while he's wearing those stupid clothes.
How can every angle Kane does be so awful? The stuff with Paul Bearer tonight was WCW Thunder bad

Come on out little Johnny! A solid Raw, how can it not be with Edge on it. I’m really enjoying how WWE writing is finally making use of its history to add dimensions to their storylines. For fans who didn’t follow the product during Brock’s years seeing the clips of his prior run and his promo video was great to build him up. The promo with Edge and Cena was fine but it didn't really do much to make me more interested in Cena’s character. I don't see Cena’s character as just having a problem post Mania he’s been dull for half dozen years now. I love that they are making Brock a super heel so much so that he’s punking John Laurinaitis, I just hope they don't do something stupid like have Cena beat him at Extreme Rules.
Lord Tensai’s promo was terrible with his head down it looked like he was reading Japanese words off a sheet of paper. WWE really seems to be pushing him as a legit monster heel but I can’t help but feel like he’s one pratfall away from turning into a comedic character. He just looks so comical to me and his gimmick is just ludicrous.
I can’t believe how long they are drawing out the Kane-Orton storyline but good for Paul Bearer picking up a little cash with his brief appearance.
I’m all for rebuilding the tag division but christ stop putting Big Show and Khali together in tag matches. Stick with the Andre-Haku /Owen-Yokozuna formula of pairing a giant who can’t work with skilled worker. How about throwing Show or Khali with Tyson Kidd?
I was all set to give this Raw an 8 or 9 out of 10 but that hornswoggle/brodus segment was so appalling it dropped it down to a 7 out of 10. Pretty much any use of hornswoggle represents the worst of what this generation of WWE writing has to offer. Some people have critical opinions of WWE bring back legends as their main characters (like Rock and Brock) but at least for me if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be watching. I enjoy Punk and a few others but the writing and booking has been bad for so long that I feel no attachment or interest in 90% of this roster.

3hr Raws are way too long. The show started off on fire though with a good promo from Edge on Cena and then a good match between Kofi and Jericho but a slight negative for me is that the number one contender for the top belt, is put on so early and going toe to toe with a perennial midcarder. I like Tensai's move set and work in the ring, hes good, i think its great to have an exaggerated character like that, they should spend some money in building up some mythology around him, like a comic book or something. is that a shit idea?
I can't really remember what happened after that all a bit of a blur with some midcarders appearing, backstage videos and some divas. Did think though the Punk sobriety test was good stuff, the feud needed something a bit out of the box because it would have been tedious to see another promo where Punk tells us how he feels or Jericho pour drink on him again.
more midcarders appeared and i was bored just waiting for the contract signing which i thought was a bit average in the end. Brock struggled a lot. I didnt mind the direction of him making demands and acting like a big heel but the delivery was awkward and took me out of it, glad they didn't touch, should make people thirsty to see them fight.
If this was a 2hr show then it could have been dynamite but too much filler and the last segment wasnt as hot as it should have been, 5/10. i will be watching and paying for this PPV. 3 really strong matches that are worth 15 pounds.
keep up the great reviews guys

I personally found this raw quite a chore to watch. Especially with the Score start time of including the countdown show? C'mon. Edge promo, althought surprising and good, is pretty much what everyone is saying for Cena to straighten up and get serious. Didn't Piper do this already? They really need to give Kane a Dungeon of Doom type of gimmick. Dungeon of Kane. I kind of miss the draft element. At least it had surprises. Lastly, John and Wai I give you guys full kudos for making through this episode and doing a podcast. I dont know how you guys did it this night.

Really enjoyed seeing Edge out there, he cut a good promo but at the same time i don't think they need to be putting cena into a "hero" position at this point... He should have gotten the talking to after losing to Lesnar. I also think that if they absolutely had to take this route, they should have waited until after Extreme Rules for Lesnar to go all diva on us.
The Kofi/Jericho match was a lot of fun and I was entertained by the "Cm Drunk"/Jericho antics that followed. the "you're not even cool" line during the "sobriety test" was a personal favorite, classic drunk-douchebag line. it was kind of a silly little angle but it was fun and an interesting way for Punk to show that Jericho wasn't getting into his head.
Poor Beth looked to roll her ankle there something awful, looked very painful and I hope she's okay. On the bright side, the way the match eventually played out totally made her look like the victim out there so when she recovers maybe we can get another dominant run from he, leading to her eventual match-up with Kharma.
I have to say that my favorite part of the show was Daniel Bryan as the special guest referee fast-counting Sheamus and eventually locking in the "YES! lock". No matter how crappy the shows are sometimes, The work Bryan has been doing as of late is almost enough to make me want to watch the next week. It's great to see him made to look like a legitimate threat once in a blue moon.
The contract signing/lesnar promo at the end made this show feel extra long at times and I was more than a little disappointed with his delivery and the subject matter of the promo as a whole but once Cena got in the ring the segment served it's purpose with Cena looking scared and Lesnar acting like jerk...But Lesnar should not have been doing a fucking 15 minute promo.
Anyhow, I pretty much enjoyed tonight's episode so thumbs up from me. Big fan, keep up the good work guys!

A fine show overall. The last segment began to to drag in parts but it was overall good. I like Lesnar as a demanding prick. The rest of the show was fine. I thoroughly enjoyed the Punk/Jericho segment. IT was entertaining and it also helped build there match on Sunday. everything else was fine. cole had the line of the night when he said "Why does the WWE universe gravitate to this guy?" when referring to Ryder. I agreed with cole. Ryder has become such a burden and a loser. The womens match was fine but dragged. Guess The Bella's aren't leaving yet. I felt bad for Beth losing her title in a insignificant match on Raw. Overall a good show that fulfilled its purpose, in building up to the PPV. 7/10. I expect an above average number as it comes to buys. Take care amigos!

I hated this weeks episode of raw, the edge promo was good but it seems that the only way they can successfully sell a cena match is by having a hall of famer do it for him. Jericho's first promo was good but all the cm drunk bullshit after sucked and was complete filler and useless for the go home show. Kane's stuff was bad especially his segment where he had to go save his father only to say fuck this half way through and stick him back in the freezer to die again completely unnecessary. I hate his promos and everytime i see him or john cena on my screen i want to change the channel they are both so stale to me and would love to see them go away for a while. Hated watching Cody Rhodes job to the two gigantic idiots big show an khali. Daniel Bryan was good as always, he is consistantly my favorite thing about the wwe on a weekley basis and cant wait to see him get over huge with the chicago, crowed if the wwe was smart they would put the belt back on him to try and restore any relevance that championship ever had. Lesnars final segment was good did a great job selling the cocky big shot heel angle I think they are only 4 matches on this card besides the preshow and im only interested in 1 and how the crowd responds to lesnar will not buy the show but i probably will check out the pre show and the bryan match later on if its any good. Not a great go home show 3 out of 10
