I want to know your opinion of TNA Wrestling's best year for storylines, roster wise, in ring work etc.

2012 is too early to tell but it's looking like one of the better ones but I couldn't blindly vote for it with only seeing 3 months of it.
I'll say 2009. The Main Event Mafia story line and the strong final few months with AJ Styles winning the championship and feuding with Sting, Samoa Joe, Daniels and Angle. Just like WWE, TNA has never really had a perfect year but I like every year for different reasons.

2006 in my opinion. the debut of kurt felt like tna were on the rise and his feud with joe was great, ending joes undefeated streak.

Mine was 2006. It might be that it was my first year of watching TNA (started in the fall of 2005) but it's when Christian was still around, and Joe was still battering everyone, and Kurt Angle came on the scene and had my favourite feud in TNA (with Joe). Awesome year. By 2007 it was AJ playing second fiddle/comedy heel etc so i'll go with 2006.
Which year had Abyss revealing Jim Mitchell is his dad TWICE in one year? Hope it wasn't 2006 lol

I had such high hopes for TNA back then. Especially when they started doing tours of Japan, sending talent to NJPW and getting talent in like Tanahashi. Then of course they job out the next Japanese "Shawn Michaels" clean in the opener in like 4 mins. Speed Muscle. Man I wish they could've kept those lads......Bring in Devitt, Low Ki.... Sigh. Oh

its a shame we cannot include those 3-4 months before Hogan and Bischoff got their hands on the company. It was a 3 way for the world title with Styles, Joe & Daniels The X-Division was on top The KO division had Kong running things World Elite was there And the great series of matches with Nigel/Wolfe & Angle
You have to give it to Russo during these months, things were going right. Then came the yellow & red....*sad face*

oh man, i think that was McGuinness vs Angle as well. It was a killer 3 months. I don't get how it happened but it was a fantastic short spurt.

2005 for me, I was living in Tampa and made it to many of the tapings. I went to a few in 2008 too, but it wasn't the same because I went with a different group of people.

Like any other wrestling/entertainment company there is good & bad in every year of TNA's existence.
I think the workrate from 2003-2005 is some of the best that any American company has ever produced. I think 2009 is an amazingly overlooked year. Bound For Glory 2009 is one of the best PPVs in company history, and it led into those 3-4 months pre-Hogan that were so great.
But for me, the best year would have to be '06. Not only in terms of in-ring work; but also in storylines and financial success. As great as 2003-2005 was, it was also a time of uncertainty. The deal with Fox Sports Net fell through, Raven, Jarrett, and Abyss were fighting over the World Title, and the company was in a huge state of flux.
But '06 brought in the deal with Spike, the ascension of Christian Cage, and some excellent matches. So for both on & off-screen reasons, I'll go with TNA 2K6.

2009 had one of the single worst PPV's in wrestling history. Can't be the best year

'06 brought in the deal with Spike Impact, or rather iMPACT! debuted on Spike TV on October 1, 2005. True that, Brother Greg...I knew it was either late '05 or early '06, but I wasn't sure. That being said, I'll still say that from a finiancial/company stability standpoint, '06 was a much better year than '05.
