I have hesitated to start this thread because I know people might be annoyed with this topic but since I am known as a conspiracy theorist and I know I will be ridiculed for even asking this but with what I know about illuminati sacrifices, and how things are controlled by a higher power.. atleast to me.. you might believe whats on the surface what is what it is.. but do you think there is any chance that Benoit himself was murdered? I am not saying there isnt a chance he did what he did.. but there are still weird things that occurred that didnt make sense that would allow me to atleast be skeptical.. and if this pisses anyone off I apologize in advance.. I am just wondering if there are people that just believe what is said and done on the surface or if there are people out there who believe that fame has a price.. and ppl are normally sacrificed .. if ppl are gonna think "This guy is crazy" i get it.. ive been ridiculed before for my "theories" but this one I have been thinking about for a while..

A lot of the people that hung around Benoit knew he was crazy. Don't think he was murdered.

I can see that.. but if you listen to interviews.. alot of his friends say it doesnt make sense.. he didnt drink often yet there were empty beer cans all over? he was so crazy.. yet he was so precise in the ring? mvp even said benoit the last couple of weeks thought something strange was going on....someone from stanford edited the wikipedia page before anyone knew anything about his wife dying.. it ended up being some kid.. they recorded the interrogation ... they never film an interrogation to publically just put it out there.. but listen im willing to accept benoit did it.. but if theres a small chance that there was something funny going on.. then it would be fucked.. just my opinion.. i know most ppl might look down on me further now.. dont exactly have the best rep of being a "sane" guy..

The investigators have a lot more information then I do about this case. I believe what they said happened.

Dont worry hanzi, all kinds of debates are welcome here, luckily we seem to be free of trolls so far. This is a valid question to look at, because anytime you have a murder/suicide, you always have to look at the possibility of murder, but based on Benoits issues and brain damage, the logical conclusion is that it was murder/suicide. Honestly as a huge Benoit fan, I wish he wasnt the one who did this to his family, but sadly thats not the case

I suppose.. well as long as people arent upset.. I just guess because I am a skeptic in everything.. I always had suspicions .. I know there are crazy rumors out there that I dont believe.. like Billy Jack Haynes claiming McMahon did it .. or the other one I heard is Kevin Sullivan did it because he's a satanist.. but yeah i guess I thought cuz I used to post on Stern fan network where its trolls supreme over there that I would be called a terrorist asshole who is fucked off medication and I am going to go kill myself type of response..

The facts seem to point against him. Do I think it's crazy to question when there really isn't a full clear case? No I don't. However having said that, I think Benoit killed his wife, maybe his kid saw him or didn't but he killed him, in remorse dressed the kid in his best outfit and then once more knowing he couldn't live with what he did ended his own life.
I hate to say that, the fact is, I respected Benoit as a person before this, as a performer, he was one of the best, and when I learned of his death (before everything came out) I was actually stunned, it was sudden and unexpected.
But when the facts were presented, I actually felt disgusted by his actions and my feelings that I felt initially. I was ashamed I gave so much of a damn but he was a canadian wrestler who I really liked, and seeing a "hero" of sorts having done this sickened me.

We'll never know for sure. Shitty deal, right? I was bodyslammed into a couch in Calgary a couple of weeks or so by the "murderer." He stayed with his family in Calgary whose cousin happened to be my neighbourhood friend. He was a "wrestler" in the 1980's and I was like eight years old. So, this was the coolest thing ever. Fuck sakes. He stayed in a house next door to a guy from the NHL who also killed a guy. That player is named Dany Heatley. Used to babysit that kid... lots of muderers in my quiet suburban street.

Very interesting, albeit edgy, topic. I can't say I think he was murdered, but I really don't have all the facts either. I didn't pay much attention to the news then and it was during a hiatus from wrestling for me. Anyone have a link with details on the case?

I think you just got to go with the facts that have been given. A terrible set of circumstances that ended with a dramatic and tragic end. It's not a nice thing to think about but it's time it got buried and moved on from IMO.

Well, coming from someone who researches societal power structures and the like, I think Benoit was legit.
It didn't seem like he had any other importance or stature outside the wrestling world and I doubt he made enemies big enough with the power to call a "suicide squad" on him or was apart of any elitist cults. I think it was pretty cut and dry, he did this, a lot of people wanted to forget or sweep it under the rug. What else can these people do? I believe "sweeping it away" was the only intentional involvement from other people.
