Who's going? What guys are you most excited to meet? What matches on the cards are you most looking forward too?
I'm coming all the way from Saskatoon to the event. Looking forward to meeting Mene Gene, The Fink, Martel, and Santana. Looking forward to Callahan/Finlay and Generico/Low Ki on the Evolve show and Strong/Liger and Elgin/Generico on the PWS show.

I'm really pumped to just meet and chat with the guys I did interviews with to preview this, so Vader, Ric Martel and Bruno Sammartino.
Also, I'll be curious to see if Piper remembers me from an in person LAW interview many years ago.
And both nights should provide some great wrestling, so it should be a fun weekend.
I'll be there all day Saturday at the LAW booth so drop by and say, "BROTHER!" ;D

I just excited to meet these legends and shake their hands. For the PWS card I am looking forward to the LuFisto match - and seeing Vader and Tito in the ring.

Sunny just got pulled from the AIA vendor booth.
Bummer.
I know she's not what she once was (in terms of looks), but still, it's Sunny. The first real diva. I was definitly going to get a photo taken with her.

Looking forward to meeting Liger and seeing him wrestle live.
The Evolve and PWS shows both look strong.

I would love to go to something like this but im stuck in Calgary. But good news for me Honky Tonk Man and Jake the Snake are apearing at the Calgary Comic Expo at the end of the month so ill most likely go to that, I have met Honky Tonk Man before but never the snake so im somewhat excited.

apparently the pre-sale tickets for Wrestlereunion this week are crap.
Wrestlereunion has already said barring a HUGE walkup, they won't even consider coming back to Toronto.
Sucks for them, but could be good for those that do go. Shorter lines.

Just got back to my hotel room from the show.
First half was just there. Nothing offensive or anything, but a lot of people the crowd didn't know so the first half was pretty quite in terms of the crowd. Pretty small crowd. Maybe 200.
Picked up in the 3-way. Felt bad for Samurai as he was trying hard, but he was secondary to the Taylor/Gargano stuff. Hard to rank as it was basically two different matches. Before and after Samurai's elimination. I don't think a ton of people knew who Chuck Taylor was before the match, but he did a great job of getting heat from the crowd.
El Generico and Low Ki I would say was 3 3/4 to 4 stars. Best chant of the night was when one guy yelled "I don't know who to cheer for" and so the crowd started chanting "Let's go both guys *clap clap clap* Let's go both guys....." Generico I think did legit tweek his ankle. Hopefully it's just a great work job and he's good to go tomorrow. Him and Elgin tomorrow night should be awesome. Low Ki throws some stiff fucking shots.
Fit Finlay and Sami Callahan I think should be record as a professional MMA match! Both guys were stiff, especially Finlay. I wouldn't want to be Callihan right now. He's got to be sore. Finlay's headbutt opened Sami up ASAP! Sami was already bleeding before he hit the mat from that headbutt.

Oh yeah, in the Finlay/Callihan match when Callihan went over the ropes and crashed onto the timekeepers table, the table collapsed and the timekeeper was sitting with his legs under the table and his legs caught got underneath the table and he was in serious pain. Fans in the front row had to get the table off of him. He was in legit pain. He got up to walk it off and he could barely walk.

If it is a poor turn out I blame the organizers not the fine people of GTA and the surrounding area(there are people past Milton). there was next to no promotion for this event unless you are a hardcore fan and are on the law site or 1wrestling. I have really seen no mention on other sites. And the only advance tickets for the event they had for sale on there site were VIP $199. The list of wrestlers attending is much much bigger than what they had on there site. I got more info on twitter! This morning was the first time I saw that General Admission tickets were $20.00. and that was just in a blurb. Even if you are just a fan you have no idea this is going on. The fans who would love to meet the stars of yesterday are not the Hardcore Fans , Smarks, Whatever of today. I really wanted to go but this weekend just is not doable. I hope they do have a huge walk up because I want it to be a success. Hopefully there will be a better promoted one in the future!

I don't want to be mean, BUT......... Shane Douglas/Dominic DeNucci vs Lord Zoltan/ has just set a new standard for the worst match I have ever seen at the PWS show tonight. I know Dominic is in his early 70's or whatever and they wanted to have him do a match with Douglas as a tribute. But Dominic had no business being in the ring. Even in the suspended disbelief of pro wrestling, I couldn't believe that Dominic's offense would have any affect on their opponents. And Shane Douglas was only margainly better than Dominic. And there two opponents were two guys who were no help. And it would have been bad if it was 10 minutes. That would have been to long. But no. It didn't go 10 minutes. It didn't go 15 minutes. It went 20 FUCKING MINUTES!!! Again, I hate to be mean, but my god, that was attrocious.
