During the WWE Survivor Series '07 edition of Review-A-Wai, the guys are talking about the chainsaw motif on the event poster. Wai hasn't seen the Saw movies, and isn't sure if the movie has chainsaws, or if the Saw franchise had even begun prior to fall 2017. The first Saw film of the same name was released on October 29, 2004. The type of saw the series is most closely associated with is a jigsaw, as the series' primary antagonist, John Kramer, is also known as the "Jigsaw Killer" or "Jigsaw". You might have made a spelling mistake there as I think you meant the fall of 2007. We are yet to have the fall of 2017. Indeed - thanks!

On the November 14th edition of 'Review-A-Raw!' John & Wai go over the usage of the terms "Dick" & "Pussy" as either to see which of the two words have a more negative impact in the form of an insult (Stemming from the Joey Styles comment during the EVOLVE P.P.V) The term "Pussy" and it's origin has been in debate for decades. Also, ~Source: WikipediaWhile the other common origin is that it's a short for... ~source: English Language & UsageWhile many have pointed to "pusillanimous" ans the correct origin of pussy, it is not without it's critics. Yes! I do (seem to) have a lot of free time in my hands! The pussy/dick conversation was very reminiscent of this scene. Larry goes on to claim that he calls guys pricks all the time, so it should be the same. His friends argue that cunt is "heavier." I agree with Larry, they're the same. Pussy isn't heavier than dick, they're not used with specific definitions or intensities intended, they're just insults.

On the Money in the Bank 2010 edition of Review-a-Wai the guys are unsure of if the Big Show had ever been in a ladder match before that match. Show had actually been in 2, a losing effort to RVD on ECW on Sci-Fi and losing the unified tag titles with Chris Jericho to DX at TLC 2009 which surprisingly main evented that show.

During the December 6th edition of Review-A-Raw, Wai describes James Ellsworth as "aloof". It was a word used by David Otunga on the most recent TLC event, as well.
Aloof doesn't mean naive or gullible or dumb, as it is often used.
Webster's dictionary defines aloof as "removed or distant either physically or emotionally".

Ellsworth thinks Ambrose will understand his motivations as he's somewhat removed from the reality of the situation. He doesn't think he pulled a heeel move on him.

Yep, it's as Mick Foley said in his book the heel has to not believe in why he is being a heel. He should be able to justify his actions even if only to himself.
Ellsworth is being delusional, he thought Ambrose would forgive him for him preserving his own chance against Styles. In the characters head the fact he is 3-0 is perfect motivation to keep the belt on Styles, Ambrose is an unknown factor so Ellsworth intervened.

You're both inferring a sense of confusion, delusion or error into the word - that's not what the word means.

On the December 12 edition of 'Review-A-Wai!' Wai wondered about Van Hammer's singlet with the word "peace" with the prohibit sign behind it! After Van Hammer left Raven's Flock, he began a hippie gimmick! ...then began jobbing through 1998 to January 1999 before turning heel and becoming an anti-pacifist!

On the December 12 edition of 'Review-A-Wai!' Wai wondered about Van Hammer's singlet with the word "peace" with the prohibit sign behind it! That would be the December 9th edition of Review-A-Wai. On the very same episode, Wai gives Nitro a 0,000000000006. John suggest this can be rounded up to 1, perhaps as a result of his understanding of the australian rounding system. Wai says it can be rounded up to 0,0000000001. Wai is close, but the correct answer would be 0,00000000001.

On last week's Review A Raw, John says that Seth Rollins decided to come after Triple H 99 days after being cost the title. It was actually 98 days, a multiple of seven since the title match was also on Raw. John may have looked up Kevin Owens' title reign days on Tuesday morning and seen it listed as 99, or maybe mistakenly figured it had happened on the PPV the night before.

On the BOLA 2016 edition of Review-a-Wai Todd Martin is unsure of the name of the tag team that made video game references and ran on a power pad prior to their matches. That team was The RockNES Monsters (Johnny Goodtime and Johnny Yuma) and it was Goodtime who ran on the power pad.

From the Christmas show regarding Harry Potter author J.k Rowling. She has gone on to write 3 adult crime novels under the pen name of Robert Galbraith, plus wrote the Casual Vacancy under her own name. So she has done non Potter Works.
Fantastic Christmas show so far though!

During the Christmas show John believes that Northern Ireland is not part of the United Kingdom. It actually is, the Republic of Ireland is not part of the UK.

I suspect you're talking about this exchange (ca. 1:21:30): John: We are gonna be joined in the new year with [...] a UK centric podcast [...]Wai: So that means that Ireland won't be included, right? John: Ah, well, the northern part, I believe. Due to the way the question is structured, it can be interpreted both ways, but I do feel John is actually trying to say that Northern Ireland is included.

If the reference is that deep......then wow.
