There's been information popping up lately about NJPW retired veterans and legends disapproving of New Japan's current product, and saying that they shouldn't refer to it by its old name, and "IWGP." What do you think about this? Do you think it would actually be beneficial for the NJPW product to let go of some of its traditions and old-fashioned ways?

We'll be back with an episode this weekend, and man, it's going to be a lot to unpack. More WK stuff, Global League, world tag league, Tenryu, Kinnikuman? Put your questions forth!

Hey guys. Do you see WrestleKingdom as the night to switch AJ babyface? He did have that throw away line when challenging Nakamura, when he said "I'll do what Anderson couldn't". I personally see AJ beating Nakamura then Anderson turning on him focusing on that line, it could also lead to a split of the Bullet Club and slimming it down a bit.

I have a few questions/comments
1. Since Tanaka and Komatsu are the first generation of Young Boys that we have watched in this "New Japan World era", do you think there is more pressure on Jado/Gedo to make sure they become big stars? Of course this isn't the first set of young boys in NJPW history but we have watched these dudes grow over the last 2 years. Are the can't miss prospects?
2. I mean NO disrespect to the Mexican community with this next comment. But I really enjoy Fantasticamania. I really enjoyed the luchadores in WCW/WWF/ECW. However, I can't get into Lucha. I have been trying on and off for the last 20 years and I can't get into it. The ambiance, noise, fans, audio, rules, all prevent me from getting into it. But guess what, when Lucha is done in front of a Japanese crowd, I love it. Am I alone with this one?
3. Why is there so much English used in Japanese wrestling? Like counting to 3. "Opening match." Commentators reciting moves in English. TAKA, CIMA. So many elements of the English language can be found in Japanese wrestling. Is this because wrestling was introduced to the Japanese by way of the Americans and the 2nd World War?

Hi lads,
I`ll be in in April in Nerima-ku for almost the whole month. My wife has given me green light to visit one of the NJPW events and I am looking forward to see Toru Yano & Co. live.
I have checked the website for tickets but haven`t really understand how I am going to manage to order tickets for "Invasion Attack" or one of the other events. I would need to go to a convini in order to order them?
I don`t really speak Japanese beside introduction and some basic phrases I would therefore like to ask if there is any option for somebody like me to order tickets or NjPW or is it realistic to show up at an event and just pay at the gate? (This is actually something what I don`t want to do as I will be staying in Nerima-ku and want to make sure that taking a bus for some hours would be worth it.
Thanks and greetings from a German living in Ireland :-)

Hello gentlemen,
On a recent episode of Chris Jericho's podcast, the Young Bucks and Jericho are talking about how hard it can be to find food on a tour, especially in the country towns.
If they turned to you for help, what would you recommend for them as potential solutions to their plight?

Chris, Burak here from the Wrestle Kingdom 10 show. What are your thoughts on Will Ospreay becoming the latest member of Chaos and going straight into a title match with Kushida? Any chance he may win ala AJ Styles did with his first match? Ospreay's work has been seen first hand by the New japan guys at the Rev Pro shows (which Kushiida was at) and he had a corker with Okada in Reading. I am very excited to see him go 15-20 mins with Kushida and think his style can get over with the Japanese audiences. Keep up the great work on the podcast!

Chris in Ottawa
Hey Chris and Mr. Park,
There have been a lot of mentions of video games lately by gaijin talents, like AJ Styles on Jericho's podcast and the ongoing saga of Kenny Omega.
Noted video game collector Steve Lin told me recently that Akihabara is not what it once was, and that the best deals and stock are now found in Den Den town in Osaka.
Before I head over there to raid Den Den, I would like to know your thoughts on where to find the hottest deals on Japanese retro video game shit, particularly the great SNK Neo Geo.

Questions
1. WH or Chris, whichever one of you is an English teacher. How is that experience and how well does it pay? I am currently a teacher here in the US and naturally I want to move to Japan one day so I am looking at possible careers. Are teachers loved and respected in Japan or is it a thankless job like it is here in the US?
2. I work with students with special needs. How is that population handled in Japan? Are those students isolated from the rest of the school body or are they given instruction in "specialty schools?"
3. What do you eat on a regular basis? I hear a lot of AMericans that go to Japan are unhappy with the food choices. So do you feel the same or have you adopted to the Japanese cuisineS?

3. What do you eat on a regular basis? I hear a lot of AMericans that go to Japan are unhappy with the food choices. So do you feel the same or have you adopted to the Japanese cuisineS? I am just spending a month in Tokyo. I would like to give you my impression on your question regarding food. I would say that you might miss some stuff. The Japanese cuisine is awesome. It is maybe the best in the world BUT can you get rid of your eating habits? If you love good cheese, Japan is the worst country to be in. Cheese is extremely expensive and you won`t have much choices. I would also the same for good bread. Most bread you get here is soft. You will barely see a decent roll. You can get Japanese food quite affordable but you will always have to pay good money if you want to eat in a Western way and no matter what it is. (At least that is my impression here of Japan) However, if you go outside of Tokyo you will have issues to get food you are used too.
