Thanks for starting this thread as it prompted me to think about the first show I had seen. I have a very foggy recollection of it but to respond I thought more specifically what I remember and the only match I distinctly recalled was Undertaker vs. The Berzercker.
Based on that I figured out it was 1992 and I remembered it was in Sioux City, IA. So with that info I googled and found out it was May 10, 1992 (I was 9).
I have at this point seen probably 6-10 shows but this one was the only one that I actually interacted with the wrestlers we got there early and staked out the back entrance where all the wrestlers came in. So I have weird pics like one of me with Iron Sheik who was super nice. Also, at the time I thought it was odd because when Ted Dibiase came he had a kid a little younger than me in the car and now that I think about it there's a decent chance that was Ted Jr.
But that show was hands down the best live wrestling event I've ever seen (even better than Wrestle Mania 23). Just being that age I enjoyed it so much more. I tried to just now see if I could find anyplace online the card for that show and the most I could find was Randy Savage went against Ric Flair for the title.

My first WWE show was Wrestlemania 18. Watching The Rock vs. Hogan was an awesome experience. Most of the rest of the card was not very good.

Well, this will show how old I am but my first WWF shows were actually TV tapings since they used to do the ones for Maple Leaf Wrestling in Brantford, ONT.
My buddies and I would all pile in a car and drive up there. Ringside seats were $5 and the first person in would run to ringside and lay across a row of seats for the rest of us.
They would tape an entire month's worth of TV in one night, and back then it was all jobber matches, but you would get to see some guys more than once because it was for TV.
They always gave us a main event dark match. You don't know how many times I saw Sheik and Volkoff vs Windham and Rotundo as the main event dark match. I also remember Orndorff vs Ivan Putski, with Orndorff just walking away as the finish.
They also shot Piper's Pit and Jesse's Body Shop at these events too.
My best memory is getting thrown out for throwing a paper airplane at Sheik and Volkoff. But it was the last match, so I went around back and met a whole bunch of vets that were leaving, including my hero Fred Blassie!!!

I live in Tidewater Virginia and I got into professional wrestling when I was about eight years old. At that time, (1989) the WWF did not go past Richmond in Virginia. Our area was NWA territory, and I had the privelage to see a couple of NWA houseshows and even a Starcade (I cant remember which one) at the Norfolk Scope. I even got the chance to meet Giant Gonzalez before the event which I thought was awesome as a little kid.
The first time that I can remember (and I may be wrong) that the WWF ran a show here was the infamous Monday night when Raw was at the Hampton Coliseum, and Nitro was at the Norfolk Scope. I didn't attend either event but I find it interesting that our area played a key role in the Monday Night War. I dont recall the two companies ever going head to head across town from eachother. And of course everyone remembers when DX went to the Scope in a tank.
I attended my first WWE show a few years back (I think 2005). It was a Monday Night Raw way back when Kurt Angle and Eric Bischoff were still with the company. If my memory serves me right, I believe Angle wrestled Shelton Benjamin on that show and I recall it being a fantastic match!
I also attended the last Raw they had at the Hampton Coliseum (the night when CM Punk returned). John Cena and Rey Mysterio wrestled in the main event and it was a great match to see live...

Three days after my 8th birthday, I took the free ticket I was entitled to from my WWF Fan Club subscription (which I had to dig through the garbage to find since I accidentally threw it out) and my mom and I went to see some graps, because she loved it and my dad could not stand it. I got a Macho Man foam finger and it was basically the best day ever.
